chiropractor D.C. MChiro

Chiropractic definitely chose me. When I was 13 years old a fall left me with a fractured sacrum (triangular bone between your pelvis). I painfully waddled into our local chiropractor’s office feeling pretty awful and was stunned by their knowledge, skill, warmth and understanding. I couldn’t believe how fast I healed and how great I felt after a few weeks of care! It was like a light had been switched on inside me that I hadn’t noticed before.
I later realised it was this time in my life I stopped getting tonsillitis and low energy, my digestion also improved. I knew I wanted to share this with others. I continued to get checked regularly throughout my teens and studied hard, graduating from the Anglo-European college of Chiropractic in 2013. After practicing in Brighton and then a charity clinic in India, I moved back to my Cornish roots in 2016 and it’s great to be home!
I’m registered with the General Chiropractic Council and the United Chiropractic Association. My practice takes a special interest in functional neurology and kinesiology and I’m passionate about getting to the root cause of pain and suffering; I love attending regular courses to improve my skill and knowledge.
I have such gratitude for all the ways chiropractic has allowed me to flourish and Thrive through all the different phases of my life. As I’ve grown along my journey I am endlessly humbled by the amazing people and stories I encounter everyday. When I’m not adjusting my fellow humans, you'll find me catching a wave somewhere on the North Coast, walking in nature, or enjoying precious time with my amazing boyfriend, friends and family.

Chiropractor D.C MChiro

I graduated from McTimoney Chiropractic College, Abingdon in 2021 and went on to begin my chiropractic career in a busy & growing clinic in Northwood, Greater London.
During my first couple of years in practice I’ve grown to love working with all individuals, from young children to our elderly, treating every-“body” as an individual and tailoring every session to an individuals needs at the time I see them.
My main method is to use the McTimoney Technique, a gentle, specific, whole body approach that can be used with everyone. I love that the gentle technique provides the space for people to take a moment out of their busy schedules, to relax, breath and re-connect with themselves whilst subtly aligning the body.
I'm registered with the General Chiropractic Council and the McTimoney Chiropractic Association.

Sally Lake

Massage Therapist BTEC L5, ITEC Dip. L4, APNT

I have been a professional massage therapist since 2004. I originally trained, worked & built my business in London before relocating to Cornwall in 2009.
I aim to make clients feel comfortable by being down to earth and honest and I endeavour to address any concerns regarding treatment. My emphasis is to promote preventative healthcare and increase awareness of one’s body by helping to ease pain and discomfort, offering practical advice and improving mobility where necessary.
I am qualified in deep tissue, remedial and soft tissue therapy, aromatherapy, Swedish, pregnancy and Indian head massage, reflexology and reiki.
I am able to provide deep pressure during treatment, but I encourage honest feedback from my clients to ensure I work within pain tolerance levels and clients are comfortable. Whether you prefer a deeper or lighter massage, I employ many modalities and levels of pressure and to provide a positive outcome. I combine all the techniques I have learned over the years to provide the most beneficial treatment. This may also include the use of kinesiology taping and/or advice on exercise and movement to increase strength and range of motion.
I have undertaken specific training in pregnancy massage and hold an APNT Diploma in pregnancy massage. PREGNANCY MASSAGE IS COMPLETELY SAFE! Over the years, I have confidently treated many women throughout all trimesters, who have found it wonderfully relaxing and beneficial. I often continue with post-natal treatment, providing relief as new mums adapt to the physical changes caused by breast-feeding, lack of sleep and carrying ever-growing bundles of joy!
I have no idea how many clients I have treated in the last 18 years, but I am still so incredibly grateful to continue to do the job that I love. In the aftermath of ’social distancing’ I feel close contact services and holistic healthcare is more important than ever to keep us connected not just to each other, but in touch with our own physical and mental health. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Adele Yabsley

Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist BTEC level 5

My interest in massage and well being started 22 years ago when I completed a level 3 course in Personal Training and Sports massage.
I decided to increase my qualification 10 years ago as my desire for more knowledge surrounding massage and it’s benefits increased. I qualified in 2015 with a BTEC level 5. I am passionate about health and the human body and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with my clients. I will continue learning for many more years to come and love attending various CPD courses throughout the year.
I tailor each treatment to the individual that walks through the door. I do this with massage, movement and various techniques to encourage the body to release. I treat anyone who has soft tissue discomfort from Sports people, to Plumbers, to people that sit at a desk all day. It’s often the repetitive movements that can put us out of balance causing discomfort and tension to build up.
After the majority of treatments I will give appropriate exercises, either stretching, strengthening or both to help you on your road to feeling better.
It doesn’t always have to be for something specific, if all you want is to lie down and have a full body massage to release some stress and tension and to feel more relaxed then that can be done. You will leave feeling like your posture has improved and your body can move more freely.
Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

I am an Accredited Core Process Psychotherapist. My approach is based upon Buddhist principles and teachings, alongside main stream Psychotherapy. This offers clients the space the explore their difficulties in the safety of the therapeutic environment and enables us to build a relationship upon which your personal story can begin to unfold and develop.
Coming into therapy is like bearing witness to your own journey, often for the first time, as this process unfolds together we can establish what is holding you back and work towards a more fruitful and positive future.
I believe the aim of Core Process Psychotherapy is to uncover what is at the core of our being and using this as a place where we can explore the possibility of well being, a sense of true happiness and an end to what is causing our suffering.
I studied at The Karuna Institute in Devon, completing with an MA in Core Process Psychotherapy. I am a member of the Association of Core Process Psychotherapists and registered through the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy.

Marta Sanroma

Acupuncturist TCM

I believe in a world where people can feel empowered to care about their own health from a natural, holistic and preventative approach

Working as an acupuncturist gives me quality time to really listen and understand the whole person and their journey through life.

I am fascinated with the concepts I learnt and experienced through Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture. This ancient approach describes health as the balance of the flow energy, called Qi, in our body; a continuum flow that when imbalanced can cause diseases. Acupuncture corrects these imbalances and removes blockages caused by them.

I was born in Barcelona and came to live to Cornwall in 2012. I qualified as a general nurse in Spain in 1992, and worked there for 15 years and the last 10 years in the NHS. I completed my training in TCM and Acupuncture in 2010 and now I combine my work as a nurse for the NHS with my acupuncture practice. I am also qualified in reflexology, quiro-massage and the Japanese Ito Thermie therapy, as I see every person as unique with specific needs for different therapies.

When I’m not working, I like dancing, yoga, being with friends and swimming in the sea (when it’s not too cold!)

What People Say About Us

A massive thank you to Amy for seeing me today and working your magic! Feeling so much easier now – can’t speak more highly of your skills in always putting me right, anyone with back issues etc, go see her, you will be amazed!

Denise – Illogan

I have been visiting Amy for treatment around 7 months. After many years of back issues , I am now so much better with my overall health . Amy looks at a whole approach and I now walk and balance better , my neck isn’t as tight amongst other resolved issues.
Amy describes it as “unpeeling an onion, finding different layers of issues and working on them” and I really feel that is what has happened .
I recommend her services , now I see her every 6 weeks for a check in . I am always able to message her if any issues with my health.

Janet – Hayle

I am so happy to have found Amy, I have never received such powerful, intuitive, holistic treatment in all the time I’ve had chiropractic care with other practitioners both in the UK and abroad. Amy honestly delivers next-level adjustments, it’s evident she is extremely experienced, incredibly attuned to the energy body, and highly trained on how the whole body works as a system (having been scarred from previous practitioners cracking and wrenching me into positions, working with Amy is the total opposite). My body has never felt better since an accident 5 years ago – no more chronic pelvic pain – and I’ve only been in Amy’s care for two months! I cannot recommend her enough.

Fiona – Newyln

I have suffered for years with a bad shoulder. I had seen another chiropractor a few years ago but felt dismissed and unheard. From my initial consultation with Vicky I have been listened too and treated with kindness and professionalism. The treatments have really helped and I have felt supported throughout it all with lots of information available and great communication.  I would highly recommend Vicky.
